Park Center 79ers CI Adapted Soccer Preview

The 2007 Pirates will be out to improve upon their 2006 record of 9 & 5 and their 4th place finish at the MSHSL adapted soccer tournament. Park Center lost close games to Stillwater and Dakota United in last years tourney. The Pirates will play in the North Division with 2 times defending state champion Stillwater, North Suburban, Mounds View, Anoka, St. Cloud, Robbinsdale and Wayzata/Minnetonka.

Gone from last years Park Center team are Heather Bartell, Lucy McCarthy, Christopher Ringe, John Conner, Andrew Moerke, Charlie Duffney, Jon Delisi, Jelena Newman and Tiffany Madison. Returning are 5 starters from last years team led by leading scorer, 8th grader Jack Dougba, junior defenders Danny Boesen, Tatianna Cox, George Watkins and freshman goalie Joel Phelps. Also expected to see plenty of playing time is senior Meg Hanson, sophomore Billy Williams, juniors Ryan Cornwell and Alicia Taylor. New to the team this year are juniors Antoine Driver, Kamla Ramidhal, sophomore Dashay Mullins and 8th grader Sam VeoPradith.
